This wreck is one of the most important historic wrecks found in waters of the Baltic Sea ever. It was discovered by Baltictech team during a wreck expedition to Öland. The wreck, though not big (less than 20 meters long), contains invaluable cargo - hundreds of bottles of Louis Roederer champagne, similar amount of ceramic bottles with Selters mineral water, and a lot of various ceramic dishes, cups, urns etc. After consultations with L.Roederer and Selters representatives, the team managed to narrow down the period to mid-19th century. Work is in progress to further identify the wreck, its origin and destination. The bottles and ceramics are clearly visible on the model.
